Create and Make a Difference.
Dates: Check back in Spring 2019 for our session dates!
Monday – Friday, 9 am - 2 pm
For students entering 6th-8th grade.
Learn how to use your creativity to inspire people to take action and get excited about issues that are impacting our world. Art for activism, a.k.a. Artivism, raises awareness about social issues through the arts, including visual arts, dance, music, creative writing and theater.
Join Mercy Corps in a fast-paced week of art for a purpose. Meet local artists, make friends, show off your talents, and magnify your voice with art! Students will build a portfolio of art throughout the week that will be on display in the Mercy Corps Action Center on the final day. Family and friends can join in during this event to celebrate and showcase the voice and talents of our young Artivists!
For questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Action Center at 503-896-5747.
