Request for Quotations - Services for Development of Animation Video for Sahel Collaboration and Communications (SCC)-NIM-SCC_003 FY22
Project Background and Context
Mercy Corps has been present in Niger since 2005, focusing its interventions on improving food security, livelihoods, gender, social cohesion, governance, and emergency response outcomes. Mercy Corps has also been working in Burkina Faso since 2016 with activities in conflict research and livestock programming. Our work in these areas contributes to local communities’ resilience to shocks and stresses and enables them to achieve long-term, inclusive and equitable development. Mercy Corps’ vision for change requires the private sector, government and civil society to work together to create meaningful and sustainable change.
The Sahel Collaboration and Communication (SCC) project led by Mercy Corps focuses on resilience, learning, and adaptive management, exemplifying USAID's collective impact in the Sahel. SCC enables USAID's implementing partners, civil society, government partners, and research institutions to jointly understand and prioritize development actions and continuously adjust them based on real-time results.
USAID/Senegal/SRO envisions creating an animated video to explain its work in the Sahel. With a focus on resilience, the short video will cover several topics such as agriculture, water, food security, democracy, human rights, health, private sector, etc.
The animation will help partners, donors and other stakeholders to unpack resilience programming in the Sahel. It will help to explain USAIDs activities in the Sahel with an emphasis on how programming is interconnected to promote transformative change.
SCC is seeking the services of a creative and qualified service provider to lead the development of a < 2-minute animated video to bring USAID’s work in the Sahel to life. The chosen service provider will work with the SCC team to develop a short, animated video under the guidance of the Mercy Corps Sahel team.
