Mercy Corps Ventures 2025 Impact Report (25.72 MB)

At Mercy Corps Ventures, 2025 marked a significant milestone: 10 years of deploying catalytic capital for climate resilience. It was a year that reinforced both the urgency of accelerating climate shocks and the growing maturity of locally led, tech enabled solutions responding to them.

Across climate vulnerable markets, founders continue building practical innovations that strengthen adaptation and financial inclusion, often in contexts shaped by volatility, infrastructure gaps, and regulatory complexity.

In 2025:

  • We made 7 new investments, bringing our total portfolio to 61 companies advancing our Resilient Future Thesis.
  • Our portfolio companies raised $124M in co-investment and follow-on funding, bringing our fund life total to $753M catalyzed.
  • Our companies reached 11.4M people this year, bringing our fund life total to 46.3M people across 87 countries, including 22 Least Developed Countries.
  • 83% of our portfolio has raised follow on capital, reflecting the strength of catalytic investment paired with hands on support.
  • 46% of our portfolio companies have at least one woman co-founder.

Through our Venture Platform and Venture Lab, we continued supporting founders beyond capital, advancing pilots, strengthening impact measurement, and building the evidence base for what works in climate resilience innovation.

As climate resilience investing continues to evolve, our 2025 Impact Report reflects on what we learned in 2025 and how it is shaping our approach moving forward.
