Nepal Flash Floods: Help Families Recover
Communities in Nepal's Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river corridors have been devastated by catastrophic flash floods. Families have lost loved ones, and hundreds more remain missing or unreachable. Entire communities have been destroyed. Roads, bridges, and critical infrastructure have been washed away, leaving hundreds stranded and cutting off access to emergency assistance.
Mercy Corps is coordinating with local authorities and humanitarian partners to identify urgent needs and support emergency response efforts. Mercy Corps has worked in Nepal since 2005, helping communities affected by earthquakes, floods, and landslides while strengthening disaster preparedness and early warning systems.
