Zeenia Irani brings over ten years of experience to her role as a High Impact Philanthropy Officer at Mercy Corps. Previously, Zeenia was responsible for helping to mobilize U.S. support for the United Nations World Food Programme, the largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. She also served as the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Officer for the United Nations Foundation, where she brought together some of the brightest entrepreneurs under the age of 45 to take the United Nations and the United Nations Foundation to the next level of innovation and impact.
She is of Zoroastrian descent and cares deeply about human rights, social good, philanthropy and politics.
