Mercy Corps’ Ukraine response meets the humanitarian needs of people affected by the war in Ukraine. In November 2023, Mercy Corps launched the Ukraine Agricultural Support Program (UASP).

One of the key components of the UASP program is to conduct comprehensive analysis on market systems in support of smallholder farmers in key geographies in Ukraine, to lead to evidence-based programmatic design and implementation. For this purpose, the consultant / consultancy firm will conduct a market systems assessment of beekeeping/ poultry market system following a market systems development (MSD) approach which seeks to fully understand the target market(s) including the relevant supporting functions, rules and regulations and the key actors and their relationships.
