Mobile Application use in agriculture is aiming to increase farmer productivity and incomes in a country context with low farmer to agriculture extension worker access. Mobile innovations are seeking to increase adoption amidst new policy and taxation requirements. The study examines demand and supply factors affecting mobile application mediums in provision of agricultural rural advisory and financial services. The study also considers how policy changes impact adoption, especially in regards to taxation on mobile money and social media.
