A guidebook for municipalities and policy recommendations for NGOs, donors and Lebanon government

Mercy Corps, with funding from the British Embassy in Beirut, conducted extensive assessments of 12 municipalities in Lebanon's "hot spots" to better understand how municipalities are responding to the Syria refugee crisis. Based on the in-depth consultations with local government officials, refugees, and host communities, Mercy Corps produced two key documents: 1) guidebook with effective responses for municipalities to utilize and 2) policy brief with recommendations for NGOs, donors, and Lebanon government.

These resources are available below along with a strategic workplan tool and a poster communicating successful municipal strategies.
