Amy Ibold is a senior advisor on adolescent girls and youth for Mercy Corps. In this role, she supports Mercy Corps’ youth portfolio, spanning more than 30 countries, with a focus on programming that supports youth, and particularly adolescent girls, to secure the knowledge, skills, and social networks they need for successful lives and futures. Amy has 15 years of experience supporting initiatives that improve the wellbeing of adolescents and youth, foster gender equality, and build community development. She holds a master of science in rural sociology from the University of Missouri and a bachelor of arts in journalism from the University of Oregon.
