Gayle Tzemach Lemmon is an accomplished author and journalist with valued expertise in policy and business.
She serves as director on Mercy Corps’ board.
Based in Los Angeles, Gayle is a senior fellow for the Women and Foreign Policy program at the Council on Foreign Relations. Previously, she covered public policy and emerging markets for the global investment firm PIMCO after working for nearly a decade as a journalist with ABC News.
Gayle graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, and she received an MBA from Harvard as well as the 2006 Dean’s Award for her work on women’s entrepreneurship.
Her book "The Dressmaker of Khair Khana” was a New York Times best seller.
