Brown Bag lecture begins at 12 p.m. Bring your lunch!

The road to a stable and prosperous Iraq is fraught with challenges as citizens struggle to survive against a backdrop of political reform, financial crisis, conflict and displacement. Mercy Corps understands the needs and complexities within Iraqi communities and the importance of improving governance in order to reduce support for extremism. Join us Wednesday, 11/18, for this noon-time event when we'll hear from Lorina McAdam, Chief of Party at Mercy Corps Iraq. She'll provide on-the-ground context and discuss how Mercy Corps is implementing successful programs to help communities resolve their own conflicts, strengthen local organizations, and more effectively link citizens and government.
