More than 15 million people lack access to clean water and sanitation across Yemen, heightening the risk of water-borne illnesses and now, COVID‑19. Water pumps and treatment facilities have been damaged by the ongoing civil war, and there isn’t enough fuel to run most water systems

Mercy Corps are rebuilding water infrastructure, including water systems, dams and wells. These rehabilitation projects also provide people with short-term work opportunities, helping them earn money during a time of very high unemployment.

Mercy Corps teams are on the ground providing lifesaving aid to hungry children and families like Raed's, but we need your help to reach more people in desperate conditions.
