Timor-Leste

Timor-Leste is a young country — achieving independence in 2002 — in tremendous need of development in a wide variety of sectors. Mercy Corps is contributing to this need for development by improving food and cash crop production for farming families to build local economies in the rural districts of Ainaro and Manfahi.
