Jenny Vaughan is headed to Haiti as part of our emergency-response team.

One of our Boston-based staff, Jenny Vaughan, is headed to Haiti first thing Thursday morning as part of Mercy Corps' earthquake response team. Jenny has been with Mercy Corps for two years and is currently working with our Conflict Management program.

She recently returned to the United States after working as Mercy Corps’ Head of Office in the Central African Republic. She has a wide range of humanitarian aid experience and will be a huge asset to our response team. Jenny is fluent in French and has extensive experience implementing relief and development programs in difficult environments like Indonesia, Cameroon and Ethiopia.

As part of Mercy Corps’ emergency response team, she will work to identify the most immediate humanitarian needs in and around Port-au-Prince and determine how Mercy Corps can best deploy resources to help people affected by this disaster.

Jenny,
Thank you for your work, doing what I am unwilling or unable to do. I sent a little money, but you are really doing it. Thank you and good luck in Haiti.
