Raffle Winner! We are pleased to announce that Carl Hodges, who holds ticket number 4415, is the lucky winner of this year's raffle. Congratulations!
Music Director Carlos Kalmar's musical genius was shaped in Vienna, Austria - where you and a guest could fly free courtesy of Lufthansa. Mercy Corps is raffling off two round-trip economy class tickets to Europe to support its programs around the world. Carlos will personally suggest a concert that the lucky winners may wish to attend during their trip.
The raffle will kick off with the Oregon Symphony's concert series All About Love on Saturday, February 11, 2006. Raffle tickets will be available in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall lobby during all Symphony performances and at the Oregon Symphony ticket office through May 15, 2006.
Lufthansa has generously donated two economy class round-trip tickets from Portland to Vienna, a world-renowned music capital. Oregon Symphony Music Director Carlos Kalmar, who received his training in Vienna, will personally suggest a concert for you to attend while there.
Your return flight may be from any other European city from which Lufthansa flies, giving you an opportunity to explore more of Europe after your time in Vienna.
The market value of the grand prize is $5,600. The price for each raffle ticket is $10, and only 5,000 tickets will be sold.
The drawing will be held at Mercy Corps on May 22, 2006 at 12:00 PM, and Carlos will announce the winner that evening during the Symphony's performance. You do not need to be present at either location to win.
Results will be posted to this page and to the Oregon Symphony website on May 22, 2006.
Thank you for your support, and good luck!
