Inaugural Edition

In this first edition of Mercy Corps' Civil Society Team newsletter entitled The Bridge, introduces readers to civil society programs and issues associated with successfully implementing positive change in communities lacking civic organizations.

This issues seeks to familiarize readers with the USAID-funded Matching Grants program operating in various counties, which funds programs that enable Mercy Corps to better integrate civil society elements into the many sectors addressed my the agency including health, relief aid, agriculture and more.

The goal of The Bridge is to identify and analyze useful lessons that emerge from experiences in the field.
