Mercy Corps recieves Top Nonprofit honor
Oregon’s most admired companies for 2009 were honored Thursday at a Portland Business Journal luncheon.
Nike Inc. received the Across All Industries award. Runner-ups for the award were Intel Corp., Columbia Sportswear Co., Precision Castparts Corp., Umpqua Bank, Jeld-Wen Inc., Gerding Edlen Development Co., Oregon Health & Science University, A-dec Inc. and Regence BlueCross BlueShield.
Earl Lewis of Flir Systems Inc. was named top CEO.
Nike Inc. received the Manufacturing award. Runner-ups for the award were Columbia Sportswear Co., Precision Castparts Corp., Jeld-Wen Inc., Leatherman Tool Group Inc., ESCO Corp., A-dec Inc., Oregon Iron Works Inc., Rejuvenation Inc. and Benchmade Knife Co. Robert Beal of Oregon Iron Works Inc. was top CEO.
Intel Corp. received the Technology award. Runner-ups were Flir Systems Inc., Integra Telecom Inc., Kryptiq Corp., Microsoft Corp., Jive Software Inc., Hewlett-Packard Co., EasyStreet Online Services Inc., TriQuint Semiconductor Inc. and Mentor Graphics Corp. Earl Lewis of Flir Systems Inc. was the top CEO.
Gerding Edlen Development Co. received the Commercial Real Estate award. Runner-ups were Melvin Mark Companies, CRESA Partners, NAI Norris Beggs & Simpson Commercial Real Estate, Hoffman Construction Co., Colliers International,Cushman & Wakefield of Oregon Inc., PacTrust, CB Richard Ellis Inc., Ashforth Pacific Inc. and Walsh Construction. Scott Langley of Ashforth Pacific Inc. was the top CEO.

Rachel Bristol of Oregon Food Bank was the top CEO.
Umpqua Bank received the Financial Services award. Runner-ups were Wells Fargo & Co., U.S. Bank, Bank of America, Bank of the West, KeyBank, West Coast Bank, Albina Community Bank, Ferguson Wellman Capital Management Inc. and OnPoint Community Credit Union. Roger Hinshaw of Bank of America was the top CEO.
Oregon Health & Science University received the Health Care award. Runner-ups were Providence Health Plans, Regence BlueCross BlueShield Of Oregon, Kaiser Permanente, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Legacy Emanuel Hospital & Health Center, Providence Portland Medical Center, ODS Health Plans and Legacy Meridian Park Hospital. Allyson Anderson of Legacy Meridian Park Hospital was the top CEO.
Alpenrose Dairy Inc. received the Agriculture and Forest Products award. Runner-ups Reser’s Fine Foods Inc., Boyd Coffee Co., Hampton Affiliates, Deschutes Brewery Inc., Tillamook County Creamery Association, Bob’s Red Mill Natural Foods, The Collins Cos., Widmer Bros. Brewing Co. and Pacific Seafood Group. Al Reser of Reser’s Fine Foods Inc. was the top CEO.
Stoel Rives LLP received the Professional Services award.
