The Mongol Rally is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure — a journey from western Europe to Mongolia's capital, Ulaanbaatar, in a car with an engine no bigger than one liter. This epic drive takes participants along a route of their choosing, as long as it falls between the Arctic Circle and Afghanistan, across some of the world's most forbidding terrain.
This race to reach Ulanbaataar — which, depending on the route, is anywhere from 8,000 to 10,000 miles from the starting line — benefits several important programs, including Mercy Corps Mongolia. Over the last few years, donations from Mongol Rally participants and their supporters have helped build wells, create playgrounds, equip schools and conserve Mongolia's environment.
Since 1999, Mercy Corps Mongolia has helped the country's families — one-third of whom live nomadic lifestyles — find and harness opportunities in a changing economy, with access to loans, business training and other timely assistance.
Your donation to the Mongol Rally helps families succeed, and preserves culture in one of the world's great frontiers.
If you donate over $20, we will be sending you a postcard from the road!
