Message from OnPoint Community Credit Union

May 3, 2011

At the beginning of April, OnPoint pledged to match up to $10,000 in donations made by our members and the community to support relief efforts in Japan. Less than a week later, we reached our goal, with total donations topping $20,000.

But that was just the beginning. Thanks your generosity the donations didn’t stop once our goal was reached. Contributions kept pouring in and, as of May 2nd, a total of nearly $35,500 in donations had been made to Mercy Corps by OnPoint and our members.

Thank you to everyone who joined with us to support relief efforts in Japan!

OnPoint supports the work by Mercy Corps and their longstanding partner, Peace Winds Japan to help families affected by the disaster. Your donation will be used to meet immediate and longer-term needs of earthquake survivors including shelter, food and clean water.
