Message from The CoHo Team of Windermere Agents

In preparing for the end of the year giving, The CoHo Team looked for ways to make a real difference in the world.

The deadly floods in Pakistan have affected 20 million people. The CoHo Team was shocked to find this:

The Pakistan flood disaster is the largest humanitarian crisis the international community has ever faced, with the number of people affected by the flooding exceeding the number of people affected by the 2004 tsunami, the Haiti earthquake and the recent earthquake in Pakistan combined. The amount of foreign donations given per flood victim is very low compared to other such disasters. The figures for the Haiti earthquake, tsunami, and Kashmir earthquake were $1087.33, $1249.80, and $388.33 respectively. For the Pakistan floods, the world has given only $16.36 per victim

Mercy Corps has staff on the ground supplying clean water to tens of thousands of people, running mobile health clinics and delivering hygiene kits with soap, towels and other essentials.

The need in Pakistan is there. CoHo is donating $5,000 to help the victims of this disaster.

We encourage you, our supporters, to look into the situation and consider donating what you can. If you do it through this website we will match your donations with an additional gift - up to an additional $5,000.

Thank you for joining with us!
