Indonique Tea & Chai

indonique.com

The company owned and operated the Indonique Tea & Chai Cafe in New Orleans until being forced closed by Hurricane Katrina. They’ve rebuilt as an Internet and wholesale company selling some of the world’s finest Teas, Spices, Curries and their renown Authentic Indian Masala Chai.

Ten percent of every tea purchase from Indonique is donated to Mercy Corps to fund programs that positively impact tea growing communities. This new business model, termed programT42, incorporates those most in need into the more profitable end of the sale. Partnering with Mercy Corps provides oversight and ensures donations are sustainable and applied responsibly.

A detailed description of how programT42 works can be found on their web site at: http://indonique.com/t42.

Indonique through its partnership with Mercy Corps is building a better more sustainable world where no one is left behind one cup at a time.
