Comfort For Kids Kit

This Comfort For Kids Kit supports our work in Haiti, where we're helping children cope with emotional trauma in the wake of the earthquake. We're training caregivers to help affected children using a methodology that we've successfully used after 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and earthquakes in Peru and China.

Port-au-Prince, Haiti — With pressing needs for food, water and shelter in the aftermath of disaster, psychological needs are too often neglected. Our post-earthquake assistance to children in Haiti includes training caregivers in post-trauma care and distributing "comfort kits."
