We must act now to save shrinking water resources, dwindling forests and, indeed, the lives and livelihoods of billions of people.

It threatens the livelihoods of the people Mercy Corps serves and has the potential to spur a global humanitarian crisis.

We're helping communities adapt to climate changes by creating new viable energy options and job opportunities that support economic development. Our Cool Carbon initiative advances innovative projects — including ones that produce micro-hydroelectric power, distribute solar water heaters and make biofuel from recycled cooking oil. Combined, these efforts are addressing the challenges of climate change and reducing poverty.

Purchase of a Mercy Kit is a symbolic gift that supports Mercy Corps' worldwide programs to help children and families in need. The Breastfeeding Kit, Climate Change Kit, Fuel-Efficient Stove Kit, Green Latrine Kit, HIV/AIDS Awareness Kit, Plant a Tree Kit, Play to Heal Kit and Uganda Farm Kit supports those specific project funds.
