Hello, my name is Akeen Edvalson. I was just born on 7/20 but already I am witnessing so many troubles in this world.
You may have heard about the deadly floods in Pakistan that have affected over 20 MILLION people. Mercy Corps has staff on the ground working to provide clean water to tens of thousands of people, and staple foods and clean-up tools to hundreds of affected families.
Every few hours I get fed, I get my diaper changed, I get to rest peacefully, and I get held by people who love me. But before I was even born, many of the families in Pakistan were already struggling to meet their basic needs. I can't stop thinking about them, and I want to do something to help.
Please help me raise money to help Mercy Corps aid families affected by the flooding. Since I was born on 7/20 I'm hoping to raise $720 dollars. This is my first humanitarian project, but since I can't yet work, I really need your help. I hope you will.
