PSU Net Impact Student Chapter's Haiti Response Fundraiser

As international relief efforts continue in Haiti, a Mercy Corps earthquake response team is in Port-au-Prince responding to urgent needs.

The PSU Net Impact student chapter is doing their part to assist Mercy Corps with their ongoing relief efforts.

We sincerely thank all of the attendees that joined us for a great event on the evening of Friday, February 26th at the Lucky Lab. We had a very successful event, with over 60 guests in attendance. Thank you for your generous donations which added up to just under $1,376 in the raffle.

A special thank you to all of the companies for their generous donations to our fundraiser especially the Lucky Lab which not only offered us the room free of charge, but also contributed another $150 to the cause.

Without your generous donations, our contribution to this necessary humanitarian effort would have not been possible, and your generosity is sincerely appreciated by us, and by the Haitians who will directly benefit from our collective support.

If you couldn't make it to the event, we ask you to consider doing your part to support the people in Haiti and make a donation through this website. Your donation will help families in Haiti recover from the most powerful quake to hit the country in more than 200 years.

The needs in Haiti are immense. Its capital lies in ruins, as many as 200,000 may be dead, and survivors are increasingly desperate for food, clean water and shelter. Please give what you can to help families recover.

Mercy Corps relief workers with experience in disaster responses ranging from Hurricane Katrina to the Myanmar cyclone are converging on Haiti from Africa, Asia, and North America. They're focusing first on the immediate needs -- for water, food, temporary shelter supplies and much more -- and expanding our work to three areas: clean water, post-trauma support for children and job creation.
