Mary Lynne Ashley's Haiti Response Fundraiser

Help me reach my goal of raising $1000 for earthquake relief efforts this Saturday, January 23, 2010!

Get a flattering new Facebook profile image. These will be taken in and around my studio, but these images will NOT BE SHOT AGAINST A STUDIO BACKGROUND, but rather a brick wall, a staircase, perhaps an alleyway, to make it look like someone just happened to capture a great shot of you. When those old high school friends find you, they'll say "Wow, the years have been good to you!" Don't we all want that?!

$10 DONATION gets you a file that is sized for Facebook (which is a fairly small 720 pixels on the long side, just in case that means anything to you. The size has been increased from 604 just recently) This file will have my logo and website subtly superimposed on the image.

$20 DONATION gets you a file that is 5x7, 300 dpi resolution and no branding on the image. You will receive full reproduction rights to print the image as you wish, or to share the image online. (If there are more than one person in the image, add $5 for each additional person since retouching time is increased.)

You will choose your images from an online gallery and can order as many images from this session as you like, based on the prices above. You will pay for the images by making a donation in the specified amount directly through my Mercy Corps fundraising page. Other donations to the relief efforts can not be substituted for payment. I want to be sure that the donations are being made in direct response to my specific fundraising efforts.

WHERE: In and around my studio in downtown Colorado Springs. (Please note that I've moved! my new location is 517-A South Cascade Avenue.)

WHEN: This Saturday, January 23rd, from 9am - 1pm. These are very short sessions -- 10 minutes max! Come early if you need extra time to beautify yourself for the photos.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION? Contact me via e-mail at MaryLynne@aol.com and let me know the times you are available on Saturday. I will look at everyone's preferences and set the schedule so that everyone interested is able to participate. I ask you to reserve your spot by making a donation for at least one image through my donation page PRIOR to the session.

ABOUT MERCY CORPS: As international relief efforts continue in Haiti, a Mercy Corps earthquake response team is in Port-au-Prince responding to urgent needs.

Your donation will help families in Haiti recover from the most powerful quake to hit the country in more than 200 years.

Mercy Corps relief workers with experience in disaster responses ranging from Hurricane Katrina to the Myanmar cyclone are converging on Haiti from Africa, Asia, and North America.

They're focusing first on the immediate needs -- for water, food, temporary shelter supplies and much more -- and expanding our work to three areas: clean water, post-trauma support for children and job creation.

The needs in Haiti are immense. Its capital lies in ruins, as many as 200,000 may be dead, and survivors are increasingly desperate for food, clean water and shelter. Please give what you can to help families recover.
