Help me raise money for Mercy Corps — and change lives in some of the world's toughest places!
Mercy Corps is a team of 3,700 professionals helping turn crisis into opportunity for millions around the world. Their philosophy is simple: No one is more motivated or better equipped to create change than the person whose life and future is at stake. They see their role as helping catalyze the change that communities want to see.
Your donations contribute to efforts like helping stock school libraries in Zimbabwe ... training women's self-help groups in the Central African Republic ... teaching rice farmers in Sri Lanka and Indonesia growing techniques that are both more productive and better for the environment ... and supporting the land rights of indigenous farmers in Guatemala.
You can support efforts like these — and help me meet my personal fundraising target — by making a gift on this page.
Thank you!
But wait, there’s more! In order to provide a more direct engagement with the book, in whose spirit this fundraiser is taking place, if you make a donation on this page, drop me a quick note (adeniroATgmail.com) and I’ll send you something extra: a one-of-a-kind paragraph of ephemera and apocrypha set in the world of the novel, made just for you! It could be anything. And I can send it by post or email. I’m easy. (River transport of mail post is forthcoming.) Just let me know which you’d prefer and I’ll get it out to you in about a week. So hopefully we can, in some small way, assist others in making an impactful change.
Please note: All donations made through this fundraising page will go to Mercy Corps' Help Families in Need Fund. Please report any statements to the contrary on this page to us.
