Soloway Guitars is once again raffling off one of its guitars for community support - this time with 100% of the proceeds going to Mercy Corps specifically for Haitian relief.
The raffle will be open from January 14th until February 10th with a goal of raising at least $5,000. The guitar is a Soloway Swan Radius with 1-piece walnut top and a 1-piece swamp ash back. Jim Soloway believes that with success comes the opportunity and obligation to help those who are in desperate need. In the past, he has raffled off guitars to raise money for the Tsunami relief efforts, to help to rebuild the Gulf Coast after the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, and to assist during the world food crisis. Through these efforts he's donated almost $20,000. Seeing the heartbreaking news following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, he decided that it was time to help once again.
An entry in the raffle costs $25. The drawing will take place on February 10 and multiple entries will get multiple chances in the final drawing.
