7:00 pm - 4:00 pm, October 16th to December 31st
Pulitzer Prize-winning author and New York Times columnist presents his new book, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide.
Co-author Nicholas Kristof appears in conversation on stage with Maria Wulff, president of the World Affairs Council (WAC) of Oregon, in an event co-sponsored by the WAC and Mercy Corps.
Through Kristof's inspirational stories, come and meet women in Africa and Asia whose struggles move us to want to do more for those in our world who deserve to find clarity, hope and empowerment in their own personal journies through lives that could have but for just some chance of fate, been our own.
