6:00 pm - 4:00 pm, October 8th to December 31st
Hear an up close and personal conversation between Portland Spaces editor, architecture guru and urban-design critic, Randy Gragg and Ed Schlossberg, founder of ESI Design, the New York based firm that designed Portland's Mercy Corps Action Center as well as the American Family Immigration History Center – Ellis Island and The Boston Museum of Science.
Once again, Portland Spaces, a magazine about designing the kitchens, living rooms, workplaces and neighborhoods of Portland, with an emphasis on balancing sustainability, elegance and value, hosts an exceptional Bright Lights event, this time at the new Mercy Corps Global Headquarters and Action Center, in the renovated Skidmore Fountain area of Old Town Chinatown.
This Thursday evening event offers a sneak preview and kicks off a series of activities that launches the opening of the Mercy Corps Global Headquarters and Action Center and serves to highlight the very special relationship that Mercy Corps has with the city of Portland, the state of Oregon, its people and our wider global community. More information on the Action Center can be found at www.mercycorps.org/actioncenter/pdx.
ESI Design is an interdisciplinary company that creates experiential designs, interactive systems and communication networks for museums and cultural institutions, corporations and retail environments, and social purpose organizations around the world. More on their innovative exhibits can be found at www.esidesign.com.
This is a free event!
