In rugged Tajikistan, a six-year civil war decimated healthy outlets for young people. Mercy Corps is helping kids rediscover fun by supporting activities like sports, camps, clubs, and tournaments. We repaired damaged school athletic fields and built a resource center to support learning beyond the classroom. It's all part of our program to improve quality of life, reduce the potential for renewed conflict and help residents move their lives peacefully forward.
