In some of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most war-affected areas, people are reaching across ethnic lines to create better agricultural systems, build businesses and foster a more harmonious society for everyone.

Since 1993, throughout years of brutal war and hopeful recovery, Mercy Corps has served families in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today, our goal in the country is to help people return to their pre-war homes, to support job creation that stimulates local economies and to promote a vibrant society where people of diverse ethnic backgrounds collaborate to build strong communities.
