As a eighth Mercy Corps truck enters Gaza, our staff say that humanitarian access has remained essentially unchanged since the ceasefire.

Foreign journalists have been allowed into the enclave, as well as some doctors, but no other aid workers have received permission from the Israeli Defense Forces to enter Gaza.

On Monday, our staff in Khan Younis continued to deliver food packages to families whose homes had been damaged or destroyed — along with awareness information about unexploded ordnance. In Gaza City, we continued to distribute plastic sheeting to families whose windows had been blown out by the fighting.
